Guess How Marvelous Is Advertising Ikki Tousen: Xross Impact

In two weeks, Marvelous will release another Ikki Tousen beat ‘em up for PSP. Ikki Tousen: Xross Impact is getting a decent marketing push too with commercials… costume damage commercials.

Ikki Tousen: Xross Impact is slated for April 28, the same day as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. So far, no company announced plans to release this game outside of Japan. Valcon Games, publishers of Raiden Fighters Aces and Easy Piano, tried to bring Ikki Tousen: Shining Dragon to North America.

They licensed it, but Shining Dragon got canned because the shredded clothes led to a M rating by the ESRB. There’s a little more to the story, which Colin Gordon discussed with us. We’ll be posting that interview soon.
