Other features that will appear in the GrimGrimoire OnceMore include a gallery with over 90 illustrations, a “mid-battle save” function, and the adjustment of the Hard difficulty. Specifically, the difficulty will be more challenging than it was in the original version of the game. The game will also feature newly recorded voiceovers and an increased resolution.

You can watch the trailer below.

Regarding the skill tree, players can use coins they’ve acquired by completing tasks to strengthen their familiars and summoning circles. As mentioned previously, players will have access to “Great Magic.” These spells can be used during combat, however, they can only be used for a limited time. That said, they can turn the tide of battle. For example, the “Mana Burst” spell shoots a flame that deals damage in a large area, and the “Resurrection” spell heals injured allies.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore will release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 28, 2022, in Japan. An international release has yet to be announced.
