Revealed last night in Famitsu, Banpresto is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Great Battle series with a new PSP game. Great Battle Full Blast brings together chibi versions of Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Gundam. There are six playable characters (two from each series): Ultraman, Ultraman Mebius, Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Decade, Gundam, and Freedom Gundam. You get to pick three for a mission and can switch characters on the fly by pressing R or L.

Players also get assist characters who help out on the battlefield. Great Battle Full Blast has 36, 12 from each series. The screenshot above shows what happens when Nu Gundam helps out Ultraman Mebius.

 

Namco Bandai will release Great Battle Full Blast in Japan on March 1. The limited edition version includes a bonus game on a second UMDBattle Dodgeball 3. This PSP game has 13 teams and 52 characters playing dodgeball.
