Grandia 2, Ape Escape 3, And SNK Fighting Games Join PS2 Classics In Japan

Who knows if Game Arts will revive Grandia, but they haven’t totally forgotten about the series. Game Arts just re-Grandia 2 as a PS2 Classic in Japan. You can get the game for PlayStation 3 for 1,200 yen. Ubisoft brought the English version to the West, but they stopped localizing Japanese game a long time ago.

 

The SNK Playmore games revealed last night for PlayStation platforms are confirmed as PS2 Classics. If you have a PlayStation Network account registered in Japan you can get Samurai Shodown VI, Metal Slug 3, and The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match for 1,000 yen each.

 

Ape Escape 3 brings over 400 mischievous monkeys for players to catch and a Metal Gear Solid spoof where you sneak past guards as Pipo Snake to rescue imprisoned monkeys. Ape Escape 3 is 1,000 yen too.
