Sony Computer Entertainment holds a PlayStation Awards ceremony every year to award top selling games and fan favorite games. Grand Theft Auto V was the only game to receive a Platinum Prize, a prize given out to a game that shipped over a million copies between November 1, 2012 and October 31, 2013. More than one game can receive a Platinum Award, but only GTAV shipped enough units to receive it.
