The voice actors who play the characters from the actual Doraemon show and movies will reprise their roles for Granblue Fantasy. Here is the list of characters revealed so far:

  • Doraemon (Wasabi Mizuta)
  • Nobita (Megumi Ohara)
  • Shizuka (Yumi Kakazu)
  • Gian (Subaru Kimura)
  • Suneo (Tomokazu Seki)

Cygames first announced the Doraemon event in November. At the time, it only showed Doraemon’s silhouette. Currently, it is unclear if the characters will appear as summons or playable characters. If they appear as playable characters, it is likely that they will work as a single unit, similar to how Okita and Hijikata are a single character in the Gintama crossover.

Doraemon is a long-running anime and manga series by Fujiko F. Fujio. The manga started serialization in 1969, which later spawned three TV adaptations. Doraemon is one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time, and the character Doraemon is a Japanese cultural icon.

Granblue Fantasy is immediately available on mobile devices and web browsers. The Doraemon collaboration event will run from December 8 to 20, 2021.
