Cygames announced a set of new emotes will come to Granblue Fantasy: Relink as part of a crossover with its Uma Musume series. The emotes are expected to arrive alongside Version 1.3.0 sometime in late May 2024.
The three emotes allow characters to perform variations on the dance choreography from the song “Umapyoi Densetsu,” including actions miming having horse horse ears and running. The song is one of the main themes from the Uma Musume franchise, which is also owned by Cygames, and it appeared in one of the franchise’s earliest trailers back in 2016. The main Uma Musume: Pretty Derby mobile game is not currently available globally, but did get a Chinese release back in 2023.
You can get a look at the Granblue Fantasy: Relink “Umapyoi Densetsu” emotes via the official announcement tweet below.
Back in February, 2024, sales of Granblue Fantasy: Relink passed 1 million just 11 days after release. The game also recently received an update that added two new characters: Seofon and Tweyen of the Immortals.
The Uma Musume emotes are set to come to Granblue Fantasy: Relink alongside the arrival of Version 1.3.0 sometime in late May 2024. The game itself is readily available on the PS4, PS5, and PC. Uma Musume: Pretty Derby is available on PC and mobile devices, but only in Japan and China.
