Taito announced pre-registration for its upcoming Graffiti Kingdom mobile game, which is a sequel to past entries, is now open. The game is a free-to-play title that was originally set to launch in Winter 2019, but was delayed until early Summer 2020. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Like many other smartphone games, players who pre-register for Graffiti Kingdom mobile will contribute towards unlocking certain milestones that, once achieved, give rewards to all players. The rewards for this game’s campaign include a Graffiti Kingdom Set, 3 Guaranteed HR Gacha Tickets, and 1 Guaranteed SR Gacha Ticket. If you’re wondering why the set seems to have a familiar face from the Touhou Project series, Reimu, that is because this particular creation was designed by Touhou series creator ZUN himself. ZUN was actually a planner behind the original Graffiti Kingdom back when he worked at Taito. Technically, the graffiti model is titled “Hakurei Miko” and not Reimu.
Apart from this pre-registration event, we’ll be getting character introduction trailers for four weeks beginning on July 6, 2020. Taito showed off silhouettes of the five characters who’ll be shown off on Monday in the picture above. More information on these characters and their skills will be revealed in the near future.
Graffiti Kingdom will release in Japan in early Summer 2020 for Apple iOS and Android devices.
