Bandai Namco revealed in this week’s issue of Jump magazine that Gotenks, Kid Buu, and Adult Gohan will join the roster of playable characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
Gotenks partnered up with PIccolo in the series to use his “Charging Ultra Volleyball” attack, but in Dragon Ball FighterZ he’ll have a different scene depending on his partner when he uses it as his Meteor special.
Kid Buu’s special is “Planet Burst.” Adult Gohan can use his Ki gauge to unlock his potential and its power changes depending on the amount in his Ki gauge. He’ll use the “Ultimate Kamehameha” as his special attack.
Players will also get to purchase color variations and titles at the shop with Zeni acquired from battles.In Arcade Mode you’ll take on a set number of battles and the route changes depending on your record of wins and losses.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases in North America and Europe on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Pc. The game releases on February 1 in Japan.
