Swing Swing Submarine has let the cat out of the bag, or rather, the fox. The French studio best known for Blocks That Matter has unveiled its next game in exploration based puzzle-adventure Seasons After Fall, which will be coming to PC and consoles in 2015.

Playing as a wild fox, Seasons After Fall has you travelling across a hand-painted countryside, including lush forests and quiet rivers, to the soothing sounds of composer Yann van der Cruyssen and his accompanying string quartet. Youā€™re no ordinary fox, mind, as you possess the power to control the seasons.

Apparently, youā€™ll meet some ā€œstrange creaturesā€ along the way including, it seems, the grumpy bear you can see in the screenshots below, tied up by the appendages of a nearby tree. Note the bearā€™s green eyes: this could indicate that this bear is actually one of the Spirits of the Seasons that youā€™ll meet along the way, who presumably grant you these extraordinary powers.

Swing Swing Submarine has released the first gameplay trailer for Seasons After Fall, which you can watch at the top of this article. If youā€™re looking for more information on the game then you can find it on its website. A selection of screenshots from the game are below.
