Aksys have confirmed that they will be publishing the game we’ve been referring to as Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die in North America. Aksys’ version of the game will be titled Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, and we’ll be using this title for it from here on out.

Zero Escape is a follow-up to 999: Nine Hours, Nine Doors, Nine Persons, developed by Chunsoft, and also published by Aksys in North America. While that game was released for the Nintendo DS, Zero Escape will be released on both the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita as a retail title. It will also be made available on the PlayStation Network.

Additionally, Zero Escape will feature dual language support, with both Japanese and English voiced dialogue in the game’s “novel” sections. The novel sections are the story bits, while the “escape” sections involve puzzle-solving. The game has 24 different endings. Certain characters from 999 will return in Zero Escape as well.

Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward is slated for release this fall. (Yes, this was Aksys’ mystery fall 2012 game) You can learn more about the game from our extensive coverage of it.
