Bandai Namco has the license to Godzilla and are working on a PlayStation 3 game. The news comes from this week’s round up of Japanese magazine leaks, which reports Godzilla will have a retro special effects style. SH Monster Arts (makers of the figure above) are creating 3D models and 3D skin for the Godzilla video game.

Godzilla is slated for release this winter in Japan. While we’ve seen Godzilla games before, the recent ones were from Atari. Bandai hasn’t made a Godzilla game since the Game Boy days.
