God Wars Developers Talk Japanese Mythology For Upcoming PS4 And PS Vita Title

Kadokawa Games announced tactical RPG God Wars: Beyond Time last November, a game that will focus on Japanese mythology and folklore. The developers shared more in a recent video revealed in the company’s press conference.

It is said that the history of this land began with the encounter of a princess led by fate and her fellow into the thrilling adventure they embarked on.
A lost memory of the ancient times “GOD WARS”.
In this video, Sano Shiro, Takeyasu Sawaki and Yasuda Yoshimi will explain the story behind the game, the relationship with Japanese mythology and folk culture, the game system.

 

Kadokawa Games talked about the game last year, where they announced that God Wars will feature over 30 jobs with more than 200 weapons and 600 skills. The game features character designs by Mino Taro, known as the character designer for the Love Plus series.

 

God Wars: Beyond Time is expected to release in Japan in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will also release worldwide.
