Yesterday, Good Smile Company revealed a 1/8 scale figure of Shio, the human form Aragami players got to know in the original God Eater and its remake God Eater Resurrection. Shio comes in an energetic pose, holding up the God Arc that she grows out from her hand.
Shio is depicted wearing the Fenrir flag outfit that she has when she first appears, rather than the dress that she is shown wearing later on. The God Arc is detailed, and you can see how it is directly connected to the palm of her hand. Shio is known for her innocent and naive nature, due to being an Aragami, and this is shown via her bright and innocent smile.
The figure has been sculpted by Koke, and will be manufactured by WING. It is around 26cm in height, and the figure will release in February 2021. Shio will cost $183.99, and pre-orders are currently open for the figure. Pre-orders will end on September 10, 2020 at 23:59PST.
Other available figures include a 1/8 scale figure of Alisa, as well as a Soma Schicksal figure that’s based off the man’s look in God Eater 2.
The original God Eater was released on PlayStation Portable, and also later got an expanded version. Later on, God Eater Resurrection would remake the game with a stronger anime aesthetic, to tie in with the ufotable anime.
