We learned at Tokyo Game Show last year that Bandai Namco is working on a new God Eater console game project, and series producer Yusuke Tomizawa teased a bit on it in his New Year message on Twitter.

Here’s what Tomizawa-san had to share with fans:

“For those of you waiting for new developments relating to God Eater, we’ll have all kinds of updates this year. First, we’re preparing an opportunity to share the word everyone sometime around [the series’] seventh anniversary in February, so please look forward to it.”

God Eater’s official Twitter also had the following the share:

“As producer Tomizawa commented, we’re doing our best to prepare new information to share with you all, starting with the new console project [for God Eater] and God Eater Online. Thank you for your support this year as well!”

While there’s no word on what this new console project could be, producer Tomizawa was seen sporting a shirt with the number “3” on it when they announced it back in Tokyo Game Show 2016. Hmm!
