God Eater 2 Adds Future Shinpachi’s Costume From Gintama

Last year, we got a glimpse of Gintama’s Sakata Gintoki and Kagura’s costumes, which were made available to God Eater 2. Namco Bandai recently revealed that future Shinpachi’s costume from Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya will also be added to the game.

The above is a look at future glasses— I mean, Shinpachi, along with his buddies from Yorozuya. His costume has been added to God Eater 2 together with the 1.2 update.

It still feels strange seeing Gintoki use weapons other than his trademark bokuto (which he happens to have purchased from a TV shopping program,) but a God Arc and Assault Gun will just have to do for now.

Gin and Shinpachi’s costumes are available to download for those with male characters in God Eater 2, while Kagura’s is available for female characters as part of the game’s collaboration with Gintama: The Movie.

God Eater 2 is currently available in Japan for PlayStation Vita and PSP.
