Bandai Namco will celebrate God Eater 11th anniversary by opening stores temporarily dedicated to the franchise in Tokyo and Osaka. The stores will be open from February 20, 2021 to March 11, 2021. [Thanks, Gamer!]
The anniversary stores will primarily feature three main characters from each of the three mainline games: Soma, Alisa, and Lindow from the first God Eater, Julius, Ciel, and Gilbert from God Eater 2, and Hugo, Claire, and Zeke from God Eater 3. They will also sell accessories emblazoned with logos of organizations from the three respective games: Fenrir, Cradle, and Pennywort Port. Each one will also sell sets of badges and acrylic stands with chibi illustrations of more characters from the franchise.
The God Eater shops will appear at the Dash Store located on the 3rd floor of Ikebukuro P’Parco in Tokyo and the 1st floor of Animate Nipponbashi store in Osaka. The items offered in the lineup will also be available for purchase in the Dash Store Online Shop. Pre-orders for the new items will open on February 20, 2021.
Bandai Namco released the first God Eater game for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on February 4, 2010. The latest title in the series to date is God Eater 3, released worldwide in 2019 for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
