Go Behind the Music With Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake Episode 4

Final Fantasy soundtracks have often gone on to be beloved and memorable collections of compositions, and Final Fantasy VII in particular is cited for its works. Now, the fourth installment in a Square Enix mini documentary series takes a closer look at the Final Fantasy VII Remake music. But, it does more than that. Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake looks at its general sound design to go over its sound effects too.

Each Inside Final Fantasy VII Remake episode talks to multiple members of the development team. Yoshinori Kitase, the game’s producer who has appeared in multiple episodes and worked on the original Final Fantasy VII as a director and writer, returns for this almost 17 minute segment. He’s joined by composers Masashi Hamauzu and Mitsuto Suzuki, Music Supervisor Keiji Kawamori, and Sound Director Makoto Ise.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will come to the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020. Its seven-disc soundtrack will appear on May 27, 2020.
