Another one of the Final Fantasy XV boys will be heading to Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. The Gladiolus Dissidia FFOO Around the Fire chapter will be available starting on November 25, 2020. The event should be around for about two weeks, giving people who complete the first few quests in his storyline a chance to permanently add him to your roster.

Gladiolus is the last of the four main Final Fantasy XV party members to join the party. Noctis, Ignis, and Prompto are already available in-game. In keeping with tradition, Gladiolus will be a melee attacker and tank type of character who wields greatswords. (In the Japanese version of the game, he’s known for his high attack and HP stats.) His special abilities also call back to his role in the game as the Shield of the King, by offering attack, BRV, defense, and HP buffs. Unfortunately, since a Dissidia FFOO party can only have three people in it, one of the guys will have to warm the bench if you intend to make a themed party.

If the global version of Dissidia FFOO follows the same schedule as Japanese one, then we should see the Turks appearing in the game soon. In Japan, Final Fantasy VII’s Reno, then Rude, followed Gladio’s debut.

As for other Final Fantasy XV cast members, the Gladiolus Dissidia FFOO debut follows the September 2020 launch of Ardyn and Aranea dropping in back in February 2020.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The Gladiolus Dissidia FFOO Around the Fire event will begin on November 25, 2020.
