A new round of Pokemon Sword and Shield Raids have been announced via the official Japanese Twitter account. This time, the aim is to make different rock and steel-type Pokemon a little easier to find until August 1, 2020. The announcement also confirmed the featured special Pokemon, as Gigantamax Coalossal and Copperajah will be appearing more often during this event.
Here’s the Japanese tweet, which shows off the two “stars,” Gigantamax Coalossal and Copperajah.
8月1日(土)8時59分まで、『ポケモン ソード・シールド』のワイルドエリア内のポケモンの巣で、はがねタイプ・いわタイプのポケモンに出会いやすくなっているよ!

A number of other Pokemon will also be easier to find in dens during this period, which can be triggered up updating your Wild Area in Pokemon Sword and Shield. You’ll also see Cufant and Rolycoly, which eventually evolve into Coalossal and Copperajah. Some other characters include Rhyhorn and its evolution, Rhyperior, Onix and its evolution, Steelix, and Galarian Meowth and its evolution, Perrserker.
The last Pokemon Sword and Shield Raid event made it easier to find Gigantamax Pokemon in general in June 2020. There was also a Zeraora Max Raid event, which led to people being able to call dibs on a shiny Zeraora in Pokemon Home. (That can be claimed now.)
Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch.
