Players will once again don the armor and boxer shorts of Arthur, a hapless knight, as he battles hordes of monsters to rescue a princess from the demon king. Ghosts n’ Goblins Resurrection sports a new look for the adventure, blending 2D graphics and 3D models to evoke the look of classic medieval illustrations.

The game also appears to retain the original classic’s steep challenge level, with enemies able to knock Arthur’s armor off and dress him down to his skivvies in combat. Some magic powers were also on display, with Arthur deploying a spell to summon a monster that turned the enemies on the screen to harmless frogs.

Ghosts n’ Goblins Resurrection is in development for the Nintendo Switch and will release on February 25, 2021. The original SP version of Ghosts n’ Goblins is immediately playable via Nintendo Switch Online.
