Sony released Ghost of Tsushima Legends stats, showing what players have been up to within the first ten days of the update’s launch. The news comes from the official PlayStation Twitter account, and they cover actions since the Legends update released on October 16, 2020. Let’s put it this way, people seem to be fans of the spirit dogs and summoned them over 22 million times.
Ghost of Tsushima Legends introduced a large number of new additions. Some of the bigger expansions were: new game+, 4-player survival missions, 2-player story missions, post-launch raid, and four unique classes. Considering the wide variety of new features, the official PlayStation Twitter’s stats showed what players chose to tackle right out the gate. The highlights are as follows:
- 11.7 million Legends mode missions played
- 141 million oni defeated
- 1.3 billion enemies defeated
- 22.7 million spirit dogs summoned
- The most popular class is Assassin, with 30% of players choosing it out of the four classes.
22.7 million Spirit Dogs summoned so far = 22.7 million dogs petted, right?

Though they cover the important bits, the Ghost of Tsushima Legends stats do not cover the most crucial one: how many times the spirit dogs have been petted. For more details, you can read our review of the base game by Siliconera’s own Kazuma Hashimoto.
Ghost of Tsushima and its Legends update are available now for the PlayStation 4.
