Ghost in the Shell SMT Liberation Dx2 Event Includes Motoko and Tachikomas

Major Motoko Kusanagi has a new assignment, and it involves a ton of demons. A Ghost in the Shell SMT Liberation Dx2 event will begin on December 17, 2020. Designed to celebrate Netflix’s Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 adaptation, it will bring an original story, Motoko, and Tachikomas into the game.

After the app’s update, people will be able to go through “Ghost of Cyberspace.” The storyline will follow Public Security Section 9 as they deal with demons, with other characters from the series making cameo appearances based on the trailer for the event. Voice actors from Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 will reprise their roles, with Atsuko Tanaka returning as Motoko and Sakiko Tamagawa appearing as Tachikoma.

People will be able to unlock both Motoko and the Tachikoma. The Major will be a five-star character, while the Tachikomas you earn from the event and by logging in will both be four-star characters.

SMT Liberation Dx2 is available on Android and Apple iOS devices worldwide. Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is available on Netflix worldwide. The Ghost in the Shell SMT Liberation Dx2 event will run between December 17-29, 2020.
