We don’t have a really good idea of what the Paper Mario: The Origami King soundtrack will sound like yet, but it seems Nintendo is going to tease people a little bit with hints of it. While what we’ve heard of its music has been limited to trailers so far, it seems Nintendo’s Twitter account could offer small tastes of things to come. Case in point, one of the songs you’ll hear when you enter a battle was shared.
Here’s a song that Nintendo of Europe referred to as the “Red Streamer Battle Theme.” It’s a song from the Paper Mario: The Origami King soundtrack that, predictably enough, drops a beat once he heads into a fight. In the video, we see Mario surrounded by Goombas while the track plays.
Volume on?
Boots shined?Thinking cap on?
Ready to drop the hammer?
Then let’s rumble with the Red Streamer Battle theme from #PaperMario: The Origami King, launching 17/07! pic.twitter.com/o2jl2TENkw

Ever since the game’s May 2020 announcement, Nintendo has been gradually offering more details about the first Paper Mario Switch game. It offered a peek at the battle system not long after its announcement, then showed off the partners and allies who would work alongside Mario.
Paper Mario: The Origami King will come to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 17, 2020.
