Square Enix offered a first look at Cid’s Highwind airship in FFVII Rebirth, as well as offered details about the difficulty options and a story catch-up feature. It also offered a look at the a summon called Kujata.
First, there’s the updated key art for Aerith that shows us the Highwind airship in FFVII Rebirth for the first time. When the first remake released, Square Enix also shared this art. However, at the time the Highwind was absent from the image. So Aerith would always be looking at open air.Â
However, we still haven’t seen Cid for the first time. Given the Tiny Bronco and Highwind are now confirmed, he should appear as well.
There’s also apparently a new FFVII Rebirth summon on the way. Square Enix shared official art of Kujata, a being players can get and call upon for assistance.
As for the FFVII Rebirth difficulty options, they will be similar to Remake‘s. As for the FFVII Rebirth difficulty options, they will be similar to Remake‘s. There will be Easy and Normal options, as well as one called Dynamic. Square Enix’ didn’t offer a lot of details about Dynamic, but mentioned it will offer more customization’s official screenshots showed Dynamic will “automatically adjust” based on how someone is playing. As for fighting, people can choose the Active or Classic battle styles, so there’s one that is a bit slower-paced and allows someone more time to make selections.
Finally, here’s the “Story So Far” video. This will be able to be watched in-game to catch people up in case they missed FFVII Remake. It features Red XIII as a narrator.
