A wild hunt is about to begin for Monster Hunter: World PC players. Finally, The Witcher 3 crossover event has been dated for that version of the game on Steam. Starting May 9, 2019, the Monster Hunter: World and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt collaboration begins. As a reminder, it went live in the console versions of the game back in February 2019.

The Witcher III content will come to Monster Hunter: World in two parts. The major features, which will include Geralt’s unique quest with voice acting especally for the occasion will appear on May 9, 2019. This will include “Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest” that sends you into the New World as Geralt, gives you a quest with different endings based on your actions, brings in the Leshen monster, and lets you create a Geralt α armor set, Witcher’s Silver Sword sword and shield weapon, and Nekker α armor and Cursed Staff α Palico equipment. This is a permanent addition.

On May 17-30, 2019, the Contract: Woodland Spirit quest will appear. This is one people need to complete to make the Ciri α armor set and Zireael dual blades weapon. It is a difficult one, with a challenge comparable to The Witcher III‘s Death March difficulty level. Delivery requests can also be completed during this period to make Ciri Layered Armor and Geralt Layered Armor.
