Genshin Impact’s Xinyan Introduction Really Rocks

The first Genshin Impact Xinyan trailer is here. The four-star Pyro claymore user was first introduced when miHoYo announced the 1.1 update. Rather than appearing alongside two of the other new additions, Childe and Diona, this rocker will be taking the stage alongside Zhongli.

Since this is a new character demo video, it functions more as an introduction to the character’s personality and moveset, rather than explicitly introducing exactly how Xinyan will shred on the guitar and through enemies. She begins by mentioning she’s Liyue Harbor’s only rocker. She suggests she’s joined the Traveler  as part of “world tour” efforts, so she might expose more people to her sound. After Aether uses the Geo ability Starfell Sword, Xinyan climbs atop it and uses it as a stage for one of her Pyro elemental attacks.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. The latest character banner with Beidou, Childe, Diona, and Ningguang has featured characters will end on December 1, 2020. We should see a banner with Genshin Impact’s Xinyan and Zhongli appear after that.
