As mentioned, track is an example of Chinese opera, with Yang Yang providing the vocals for Yun Jin. Yang Yang is the singing voice for her in all languages of Genshin Impact. “Devastation and Redemption” is the only track on the “Fleeting Colors in Flight” album, and it debuted during Version 2.4. You can hear it in-game in the last portion of the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter.

MiHoYo recently posted a video detailing the creative process behind Yun Jin. During the video, the staff mentioned how they invited Chinese opera singer Yang Yang and the unique challenge of having two people voice the same character. Yun Jin debuted in Version 2.4 alongside Shenhe, who is the focal character of the “The Crane Returns on the Wind” Interlude Chapter.

Genshin Impact is readily available worldwide on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The current banners, which feature Shenhe and Xiao as the limited 5-star characters, will end on January 25, 2022. The Genshin Impact track “Devastation and Redemption” is now on Spotify and Apple Music.
