Genshin Impact Yoimiya Banner Includes Diona, Sayu, and Xinyan

MiHoYo announced more details about the next Genshin Impact banner starring Yoimiya and Sayu. In addition to the two new characters from Inazuma, there will be two returning characters. Liyue rocker Xinyan and Mondstadt bartender Diona will also be a part of this event wish. Tapestry of Golden Flowers will kick off on August 10, 2021.

Yoimiya is a five-star Pyro archer. She’s also known for her expertise with fireworks. People who’ve reached Inazuma and completed her story quest—a necessity to continue the Archon quests in Chapter 2—might have already had a chance to test her out. There will also be a trial run event while the Yoimiya banner is active, so people can see how both she and Sayu will work.

Sayu we already learned about a bit more in a new Genshin Impact trailer. She is a four-star Anemo character who wields a claymore. She is also a tiny ninja.

The returning focus characters are also both four-stars and use the same sorts of weapons as the new additions. Diona is a Cryo archer. She has Elemental abilities that allow her to give the party shields or heal them. Xinyan is a Pyro claymore-wielder. She’s designed to handle groups of enemies around her.

Genshin Impact is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development. As for the Yoimiya and Sayu banner, it will run in Genshin Impact during August 10-31, 2021.
