HoYoVerse teased the playable version of Scaramouche (or Wanderer), as well as new Sumeru character Faruzan, are coming to Genshin Impact and both characters will be Anemo. At this point, it is unclear as to what rarities they will be and weapons they will use. However, Wanderer will likely be a 5-star Catalyst user.
Faruzan’s Constellation is “Flosculi Implexi” or “Entwined Flowers.” The bottom of her dress has a stained glass-like pattern. There are also flower decorations on the dress, which are likely a reference to her Constellation. She is an “Enigmatic Machinist” and a “Haravatat Household Name.” She is always happy to help students in understanding mechanics, but she dislikes people asking why other academics shun her.

As for Scaramouche, aka “The Wanderer,” his Constellation is “Peregrinus” in Genshin Impact. Though he has a different outfit as a playable character, he has retained his signature big hat. The story will likely explain the circumstances around why he now has an Anemo Vision. Aside from a playable version of the Wanderer, Scaramouche will also be a new weekly boss as of Version 3.2 of Genshin Impact.

While Faruzan never appeared in the Genshin Impact story, Cyno mentioned her in his voice lines. As the General Mahamatra, he investigated her out of concern that she was conducting dangerous research. He stated that Faruzan is like a “kindly and chatty parent.” Scaramouche, on the other hand, appeared multiple times in the story. He debuted in the Unreconciled Stars event in Version 1.1 and is a major antagonist in the Inazuma Archon Quests.
Genshin Impact is readily available on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices, with Version 3.2 launching on November 2, 2022. It is unknown when Faruzan and Wanderer will appear in Genshin Impact.
