The 4.2 Special Program was supposed to air at 4am PT/7am ET/1pm CET on October 27, 2023. As is customary, it was announced a few days before the presentation with a teaser showing some characters who would appear. The English version’s art showed chibis of Lumine, Furina, and Neuvillette, suggesting the voice actors for all three would act as hosts. Especially as Furina is expected to make her playable debut alongside Charlotte following the update.

HoYoVerse didn’t explain if the livestream will feature the same fanfare when it does air. Typically, these showcases first appear on the official Twitch channel. About an hour after that, the broadcast replay is shared on the YouTube account. When there have been delays before, they are typically shown as usual, just at a different time. However, we could end up just seeing the stream uploaded to YouTube eventually instead.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The 4.2 update is expected to arrive in the beginning of November 2023. The Genshin Impact Special Program livestream for 4.2 will now air at an unspecified time, rather than on October 27, 2023.
