Genshin Impact Special Program for 4.2 Airs This Week

HoYoVerse announced a date for the Genshin Impact Special Program for the upcoming 4.2 update. People will be able to tune in and watch it at 5am PT/8am ET/2pm CET on October 27, 2023.

As usual, the Genshin Impact showcase will go over things people can expect from the next game update. The teaser image for it showed both Neuvillette and Furina’s voice actors will appear alongside Lumine’s voice actress for the showcase. (In Japan, the Venti and Charlotte performers will appear.) It will appear on Twitch first. However, people can also find it on the official YouTube channel after.

The 4.2 Genshin Impact update will continue the Fontaine storyline and to flesh out details about the area. For example, we already the Hydro Archon Furina and Cryo character Charlotte will both be the new playable characters joining the cast. Charlotte first showed up in-game during 3.7, where she was a supporting cast member during an event. Meanwhile, we’ve seen Furina pop up during the Archon quests since 4.0 arrived.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program 4.2 will arrive on October 27, 2023 at 5am PT/8am ET/2pm CET.
