Genshin Impact Serenitea Pot Store Will Sell Wood

HoYoVerse went over some of the changes found in the 5.2 Genshin Impact update, and the Serenitea Pot Realm Depot store will now sell wood for players to buy. This quality of life change is designed to make crafting furnishings and buildings easier in the game.

In order to be able to buy Wood in Genshin Impact, you first need to have found it. So Pine Wood is common in the Mondstadt and Liyue regions. Since it is common, it is likely you already attacked trees there to “cut” some and will see it in the Realm Depot right away. However, since an item like Yumemiru Wood is only found on Inazuma’s Narukami Island and it takes time to get there, it won’t show up until you reach that location and cut some.

Here’s the official image showing how the Realm Depot store Wood section will look when looking to buy the material in the Genshin Impact Serenitea Pot. It suggests each time the store refreshes, there will only be 10 pieces available.

As an example of how this would work in practice, let’s look at the Red Cedar Curio Stand interior furnishing. It needs 6 Red Dyes and 12 Fragrant Cedar Woods to craft. If you already found it while exploring in the Mondstadt area, then the Genshin Impact Serenitea Pot Realm Depot store will sell that type of wood to buy. So if you only had five, you could purchase the remaining pieces you need.

This isn’t the first time we saw Serenitea Pot QOL changes. HoYoVerse also implemented some in April 2024. That added one-click crafting.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, the Xbox Series X version launches on November 20, 2024, and the 5.2 update is expected to also launch on November 20, 2024.
