Genshin Impact Never-Ending Battle Event Explained

miHoYo announced the next Golden Apple Archipelago event in Genshin Impact will be Never-Ending Battle. People who are over Adventure Rank 21 can take part in battles that involve beating up enemies and building ā€œMomentumā€ by attacking Berserkers and Discs so youā€™ll be in a better position to fight even more enemies.

Basically, the Never-Ending Battle fights are about building a strong gameplay loop in Genshin Impact. Challenges will be on the map, with enemies waiting to fight you there. When you fight, youā€™ll occasionally be told that a Momentum Disc is on the field or come across a Berserker. Defeating that increases your Momentum, which in turn offers more buffs to your party. Up to three levels of Momentum Blessings can be stacked up. This will combine with the current stageā€™s unique condition. Youā€™ll then need to take advantage of both to win within a certain amount of time.

Depending on how fast you complete a challenge and the difficulty you set for yourself, youā€™ll earn certain scores. For example, the normal difficulty doesnā€™t offer any multiplier. Hard offers a 2x multiplier and Fearless a 3x one. These, in turn, will determine the rewards you get. miHoYoā€™s example image suggested the base score, 500, would get people 60 Primogems. Getting 1,000 would add talent experience materials and Mora, while 2,000 would tack on Heroā€™s Wit and more Mora.

Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. It will also come to the Nintendo Switch. The Genshin Impact Never-Ending Battle event will run July 9-19, 2021. The Version 2.0 stream will appear on July 9, 2021 as well.
