Genshin Impact Lunar Realm is The Game’s First Fishing Event

miHoYo has announced Lunar Realm, an upcoming fishing event in Genshin Impact. It will run from September 10 until September 20, and feature Kujirai Momiji, the Inazuman angler players can purchase fishing rewards from. It follows her and her old friends’ quest to catch the Lunar Leviathan, along with the player’s help.

In order to participate in the event, players will need to be over Adventure Rank 30. Additionally, they will need to have completed the Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan,” unlock the Serenitea Pot system, and complete the “Exploding Population” quest that unlocks the fishing system in-game. There will be a total of seven parts to the upcoming Lunar Realm event in Genshin Impact, and you can obtain rewards based on how well you do in the fishing mini-game.

As per usual, event rewards include items such as Primogems, Hero’s Wit experience books, and Mora. As well, you can get an event-exclusive furnishing and the Moonstringer fishing rod. Fishing is a new mechanic that was implemented with the Version 2.1 update. Players can fish in designated locations in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma, and obtain items from members of the Fishing Association.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Lunar Realm event will start on September 10, 2021, and will end on September 20.
