Genshin Impact Getting a Character Training Guide Feature in 4.5

Ahead of the 4.5 Genshin Impact Special Program and update, HoYoVerse announced the game will get a character training guide. This is an in-game feature that will be designed to help people decide how to build characters.

Here’s how it will work. When you open the main Paimon Menu, the Training Guide will appear in the same row as the Archive, Character Archive, and Character icons. Once selected, you can see the Party Character Power screen. This will let you know their Adventure Power level. As seen in the screenshot below, it shows how a Level 90 character who is fully built will be recognized as “formidable,” while a level 20 one would be pointed to as “weak.” An “Enhance” button will also appear alongside each character’s name.

If someone selects Enhance, they can then specifically check Character Level, Weapon, Artifacts, and Character Talents section to see if they’re optimized. The Character Level section of the Genshin Impact Character Training Guide feature basically shows if you can ascend or level up the character and explains what items you’d need to do so. The weapons and artifacts tabs suggest which equipment you should use, as well as the recommended level you should get them up to, based on what other players use. Finally, the Character Talents page acts like the Character Level one and tells people which talents you should upgrade and what you’ll need to do so.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.5 Special Program will air on March 1, 2024. It appears the next update could arrive on March 13, 2024, the day after the Xiao and Yae Miko banners end.
