When a new Genshin Impact update is about to drop, there’s a certain HoYoVerse routine begins. It starts drip marketing for the next characters on the way. This happened with Freminet, Lyney, and Lynette ahead of 4.0. Now that 4.0 is about to launch on August 16, 2023, the 4.1 Genshin Impact Fontaine characters Wriothesley and Neuvillette appeared.
This announcement didn’t reveal the star rarity of either Genshin Impact Fontaine character, but it did offer other details about Neuvillette and Wriothesley. Neuvillette is essentially the “Chief Justice” of the courts in the city as the Iudex of Fontaine. He will be a Hydro character.

Meanwhile, Wriothesley seems to essentially be considered a “duke” in Fontaine in Genshin Impact. He’s a Cryo type character who is the Administrator of the Fortress of Meropide. His Constellation is called Cerberus.
