Genshin Impact Eri Kitamura Interview Includes Date with Keqing

miHoYo uploaded another voice actor interview to the official Japanese Genshin Impact YouTube channel. This time Eri Kitamura, the voice actress for Keqing, sat down to share her experience providing the voice for this Genshin Impact character. Additionally, there was a surprise segment at the end. This short snippet has Kitamura providing voice lines for a dating scene during a festival with Keqing.

In the interview, Kitamura is confident that Keqing will continue to be a fan favorite among players. She attributes this to Keqing’s personality and design. Specifically her hairstyle and the attitude of the character. Additionally, she comments on the playstyle of Keqing along with her time spent voicing the character.

Lastly, the Genshin Impact interview video ends with a short segment voiced by Eri Kitamura that features a date with Keqing. This segment has Keqing waiting for the player, and is a bit startled that they showed up on time. She comments on her outfit, and then asks the player to treat her like an average citizen of Liyue during their date. Keqing was recently featured in a short Genshin Impact comic.

Eri Kitamura has provided her voice acting talent for franchises like Hyperdimension Neptunia, Street Fighter, and mobile titles like SINoALICE.

Genshin Impact is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Android and iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in the works.
