Previously, miHoYo announced through a Genshin Impact special program that Ayaka would return to the pool of summonable characters. However, there was no mention of when she would return during Genshin Impact Version 2.6, only that it would be during the second phase of the patch. Players now have an idea as to when they can expect to see Ayaka, Rosaria, and Sayu reappear.

Genshin Impact Version 2.6 saw the addition of Ayato Kamisato. He is a five-star Hydro swordsman and brother to Ayaka. Ayato is available to obtain in Genshin Impact through a limited banner until April 19, 2022.

Genshin Impact is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and for Android and iOS devices. It is in development for Nintendo Switch. The Ayaka rerun banner will appear on April 19, 2022.
