The first volume of the official Genshin Impact art book went on sale in Japan. Formally titled the Genshin Illustration Collection Vol. 1, the book is being published in Japanese by Kadokawa. It first debuted in China in 2021 [Thanks, Game Watch!].
The Genshin Impact art book spans 176 pages. Roughly 38 pieces of character art are in it, with 84 promotional visuals and celebratory images from the Genshin Impact project team. The images are in large format, and the book itself is printed in a 260mm x 220mm landscape size (about 10″ x 8.7″ inches). Buyers who pick up the book from retailer Ebiten also get an art print of Tartaglia (a.k.a. Childe) wearing his Fatui Harbinger coat.
In samples taken from Chinese store sites, some of the character illustrations include the official character standups that appear in trailers and profile images. The promo images include things like Valentine’s Day illustrations shared on official accounts, and event illustrations from summon banners. Other art pieces created by commissioned third-party illustrators can also be found in the Genshin Impact art book.
The Genshin Impact Illustration CollectionVol. 1 art book is on sale in Japan, and costs 3,520 Yen (about $24 USD). Interested buyers can pick it up on sites like Amazon JP and Ebiten.
