Genshin Impact Alps Event to Feature Exciting Content

miHoYo announced a Genshin Impact event to be held in the Alps. The official Genshin Impact Twitter account shared several images of promotional illustrations set up at the Val Thorens resort. This includes artwork of one of the two player characters, and promotional artwork of Paimon and Albedo. Additionally, the a Venti standee is now on display at the resort. Additionally, miHoYo mentioned that the Alps resort will host several “mysterious events” related to Genshin Impact. However, it has yet to disclose any detail. The event began on December 14, 2021. miHoYo has not disclosed when the event will end.

In January 2021, miHoYo shared development details regarding the Dragonspine location in Genshin Impact. The developers revealed that they took inspiration from the Alps to construct the area. The developer video also revealed how several mechanics were conceptualized for the area. This includes the Sheer Cold mechanic. Additionally, during this period Albedo joined the roster of the game. In November 2021, character returned to the limited summon pool for a brief period of time.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is on the way too.
