Genshin Impact Alhaitham Video Shows He’s No Ordinary Scribe

HoYoVerse uploaded the teaser video and kit for Alhaitham, who will be a new five-star Dendro Sword user in Genshin Impact. Players who main Keqing might start off with an advantage if they get Alhaitham. This is because Alhaitham’s Elemental Skill is reminiscent of hers. His Universality: An Elaboration on Form Skill lets him dash forward and deal Dendro DMG. You can also aim it when you hold down the Skill button. After you hit an enemy with this Skill, he will create a Chisel-Light Mirror. Chisel-Light Mirrors will convert Alhaitham’s attacks to Dendro DMG, and deal Dendro DMG dependent on how many Mirrors. At the maximum, Alhaitham can have three Mirrors.

His Elemental Burst, Particular Field: Fetters of Phenomena, also relies on his Mirrors. The more Mirrors you have, the more hits (and therefore damage) it will deal. After it ends, Alhaitham will recover however many Mirrors necessary for him to have the maximum three again.

In Japanese, Yuuichirou Umehara voices Alhaitham. Umehara previously voiced Eugene on Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Leona in Twisted Wonderland. As for the English dub, Nazeeh Tarsha voices him. Past roles for Tarsha include Raihan and Peony in Pokemon: Twilight Wings, as well as Lex in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Alhaitham and Yaoyao will debut as new Dendro characters when Genshin Impact Version 3.4 goes live on January 18, 2023.
