During the Genshin Impact Special Program, miHoYo revealed Zhongli and Xiao would return to the summon pool. Xiao will appear on the same banner as Shenhe, a new character that will appear through the version 2.4 update. Players can expect to see both characters available through a limited banner on January 5, 2022.

This is also when the Genshin Impact version 2.4 update will go live. Players will have access to an entirely new area through the update. This area, Enkanomiya, will feature several environmental puzzles, entirely new wildlife, and more than a handful of new enemies.

Genshin Impact is available for PS4, PS5, PC, and Android and iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
