Genshin Impact 2022 Calendar Images Feature Characters

MiHoYo announced it will be giving away Genshin Impact 2022 calendar images featuring characters from the game. Each one will be doled out via its official Japanese Twitter account. They are designed to be used and viewed on smartphones or mobile devices. The January 2022 one features Thoma as its focus character.

Here’s the first Genshin Impact 2022 calendar picture. So far, only the Japanese Twitter account is sharing them. The English one didn’t kick off these releases yet. As such, it might be wise to follow this account if someone wants to collect all 12.

Thoma is one of the newer Genshin Impact characters. He first appeared on the Hu Tao rerun banner in November 2021. The Pyro polearm user is originally from Mondstadt, but currently lives in Inazuma. He works for Ayato and Ayaka Kamisato.

Thoma’s birthday also falls in the month in which he appears as the calendar star. It’s January 9th. (Which means on that day in-game, you’ll get items connected to him.) The January 2022 calendar highlights his birthday, as well as Diona’s (January 18th) and Rosaria’s (January 24th).

If miHoYo picks additional calendar images based on birthdays, then the February 2022 one could feature Beidou, Kokomi, or Bennett.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. It will also come to the Nintendo Switch.
