The developer shared detailed information regarding the version 2.5 update through a special broadcast. This included an in-depth look at Yae Miko, a new character that will be available through a limited summoning banner. The broadcast broke down her skills and functionality in combat. Additionally, a short animated video was shown during the broadcast. It featured several key characters from the Inazuma storyline, including the Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, and Sanganomiya Kokomi.

Players will have another opportunity to obtain the Raiden Shogun and Sanganomiya Kokomi through a series of re-run banners. However, once version 2.5 has gone live, the Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, and Kokomi banners will roll out in phases.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. It will release for Nintendo Switch sometime in the future. Genshin Impact version 2.5 will arrive on February 16, 2022.
