The Genshin Impact 1.4 update release date is March 17, 2021. As hinted at by Kaeya during the 1.3 update’s Lantern Rite, it will take us back to Mondstadt with Invitation of Windblume, an opportunity to experience the Windblume Festival. It will also mark the return of Venti apparently, as he appears in the key art with Rosaria, the new four-star who will join after the update. Quality of life changes will also appear.
The quest-related updates in 1.4 will involve both the main campaign apparently and Mondstadt’s Windblume Festival. People will work with Dainsleif to search for their missing twin and advance the story. They’ll also be able to participate in the Windblume story quest, which has multiple endings, if they’re at AR 20 and beat the prologue campaign story Song of the Dragon and Freedom. The multiple-ending story quest involves Barbara, Bennett, Chongyun, and Noelle, and some revealed rewards are a four-star Windblume Ode weapon and items like a Windsong Lyre and Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon.
As for Rosaria, miHoYo confirmed the Cryo heroine will be a part of the Genshin Impact 1.4 update. She’s uses polearms, just like recent additions Hu Tao and Xiao.
Here’s the Genshin Impact 1.4 update trailer. At the very end, there’s a peek at the KFC Diluc and Noelle costumes with the term “Outland Gastronomy.”
As for those quality of life changes, two big ones will be added. One will let you change your World Level at will. As you play and increase your Adventure Rank to unlock certain quests in-game, your World Level automatically has to go up. But, it can’t go back down. After the 1.4 update, you will be able to increase or decrease it when playing alone or with others. People will also be able to hold five Condensed Resin at a time.
Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is on the way too. The Genshin Impact 1.4 update will appear on March 17, 2021.
