Genshin Impact 1.2 Update Will Be Discussed During a Special Broadcast

The upcoming Genshin Impact 1.2 update will be one of the topics that comes up during a Special Program. The broadcast will be available to watch through the official YouTube channel. It will air on December 11, 2020 at 8am PT/11am ET.

Details about the Special Broadcast are scarce, with the official Twitter using the hashtag “TheChalkPrinceandtheDragon” to tease information that will potentially be revealed. The Genshin Impact Version 1.2 update will arrive on December 23, 2020. Version 1.3 will arrive sometime in February 2021.

The Geo Archon Zhongli was recently added to Genshin Impact as part of the game’s 1.1 update content. Players will be able to roll on his banner until December 22, 2020 if they have their hearts set on obtaining him. Among other recent additions, from December 4-14, 2020 players can participate in a new gliding event to net themselves rewards. These rewards include Mora, Primogems, and various level up materials.

An official Genshin Impactt guidebook will also release in December 2020. This special guidebook will include a double-sided poster and calendar. However, the guide itself will only be available in Japanese.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch release will arrive sometime in the future. The Genshin Impact 1.2 update will arrive on December 23, 2020.
