The Genshin Impact 1.1 patch is coming on November 11, 2020, and it is looking like it going to be rather huge. To start, there will be four new characters added. Liyue’s storyline is going to be finished. Also, for PlayStation owners, the Genshin Impact PS5 backward compatibility will be implemented.

First, let’s go over the new characters that debuted in miHoYo’s latest trailer. There’s a five-star, hydro archer named Tartaglia Childe. Zhongli Vago Mundo is a five-star, geo spear-wielder. The two new four-stars are Xinyan, a pyro user who wields claymores, and Diona, a a cryo archer.

There will also be new things to do. Liyue’s story will be completed. A reputation system will add a new NPC to each place to add more objectives and rewards. There will be an Unreconciled Stars seasonal event that will include the four-star electro archer Fischl as a reward and co-op quests. (That will last for two weeks.)

Here’s a Genshin Impact 1.1 update trailer that goes over some of the additions. It starts off by teasing what the new Liyue storyline will look like, then focuses on the new playable characters.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. When the 1.1 update launches on November 11, 2020, it will add Genshin Impact PS5 backward compatibility.
