Genius Sonority’s Free-to-Play 3DS RPG Crosses 500,000 Downloads

Back in July, Genius Sonority released the fourth game in their series of Denpa Men RPGs for the Nintendo 3DS. The major difference between this and the three before it is that it’s a free-to-play game.

The Denpa Men RPG Free! features in-game items that can be purchased with cash, like all free-to-play games. Like the previous games, it features dungeons to explore and monsters to battle.

This week, the developer announced that The Denpa Men RPG Free! has been downloaded over 500,000 times since its release back on July 23rd. Of course, what really matters in the case of F2P games is how much money people are spending, which Genius haven’t divulged.

Genius Sonority haven’t announced The Denpa Men RPG Free!  for release in the West yet either, but the previous three games have made it over, so this one probably will, too.
