Gardening Feature Will Appear In Next Genshin Impact Update

With Version 2.0 of Genshin Impact on the horizon, miHoYo has revealed some new information on the gardening feature that will appear in the next update. Gardening will unlock in the Serenitea Pot after you reach Reputation Level 3 in Inazuma and complete the “The Art of Horticulture” world quest.

The Traveler can equip the Seed Dispensary and gather seeds while harvesting plants in the overworld. Players can then purchase fields and start planting their seeds. There are three different kinds of fields, and each field has certain plants that correspond to them. For example, you can grow a Windwheel Aster in a Luxuriant Glebe, but you cannot grow a Windwheel Aster in an Orderly Meadow.

Growing plants takes days, with each seed requiring a different time. Right now, there is no information on any potential items in Genshin Impact that will speed up growth. Like companions or the Traveling Merchant, the locations of your fields will appear on the minimap so you can find them easily.

Currently, Genshin Impact has the Mysterious Voyage web event going on, and it will last until July 20, 2021. Players can get rewards such as Primogems and Mora. Earlier this month, miHoYo showed off the Inazuma 2.0 trailer, which featured new characters such as Ayaka and Yoimiya. The Inazuma 2.0 update, which includes gardening, will go live in Genshin Impact on July 21, 2021.

Genshin Impact is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
